Residents of Mill Valley to Build New Park Roll up your sleeves and help.

The Sycamore Park Playground Project is a grassroots effort where the residents of Mill Valley join hands to provide a state-of-the-art park for children throughout the area. What makes this project unique is that the children from Park and Edna Maguire Elementary School have designed the playground and the community will help with fundraising, supply the labor and build the playground from June 21st to June 25th, 2006.

We will need the help and support of hundreds of volunteers and businesses to make this project successful. This includes parents, grandparents, teenagers, and other interested members of the community working side by side to complete the park in only five days! The organizing committee has already raised $10,000 of the $200,000 that's needed we need to build phase I of the playground.

There are 3 ways that local businesses can get involved with the park!

1. Donate to our upcoming fundraiser. The Rotary Club has chosen The Sycamore Park Project for their 2006 fundraising efforts! A live and silent auction is in the plans, featuring, food, bar, dancing, etc. Contributions are needed to make it a success.

2. Donate to the park (all donations are 100% tax-deductible and will have permanent plaques recognizing your contribution):

3. Become part of our affiliate program. If any business is interested please contact one of the organizers below.

What you get in return is recognition in your community:
